His
Journey began with a 3 day workshop by glass artist
Jason Lennon, where Morgan learned the basics of inside
out and wrap and rake techniques, as well as how to make
a spoon and smaller pieces.
He
took this knowledge and built on it, and later took a
workshop from well known heady master Banjo along with
Lennon and Tormino.
From
this Morgan has built a style of his own, paying homage
to the influences of his work as well as showing his own
interpretation of various techniques.
Morgan’s heady tubes are distributed through Honalee
glass studio, and one was reviewed in last months Glass
Aficionado magazine.
“I owe
a lot to Scott from Honalee glass. His support has
really helped me a lot”
Says
Morgan.
Morgan’s work is tight and clean, and every piece looks
more impressively built than the last
“Where
do you see your work going in the future? I asked.
“The
sky is the limit” says Morgan…And we believe him.
