Overall review:

A I’ve said before, the internal disc diffuser has revolutionized the stemless design, and TCT has taken this concept to the next level.

Similar to the design of the Toro/ Erik Anders Collaboration disc diffused stemless featured in last months issue, this tube adds perforated discs stacked about an inch apart in the lower area of the main tube chamber.

Disc diffusers take all the harsh chug out of a stemless, and use water tension and the vacuum created during the draw to form an internal filtration chamber.

With the three stacked internal discs, three levels of filtration are added producing a surprisingly smooth effect.

This tube must be used with the base flat, and the tube held vertical.

Don’t lean back or tilt the tube, as the system won’t work unless it is upright.

The ice ring on this tube works but as I’ve stated before when using real ice instead of freezer cubes, the ice will melt and clog the center of the ring restricting the flow and adding drag.

Freezer cubes are advised when using any tube with ring style ice restrictions.

The worked section on this tube is incredible, and from my understanding it’s the last of a one off batch of color that isn’t being made any longer.

The work is by Madden, and has a hypnotizing beautiful appearance.

Overall, this is an incredibly smooth tube that has very little drag and a extremely nice feel.

It is as smooth as a traditional diffused piece, and possibly even a bit smoother.

The triple disc filters the smoke very effectively without adding a lot of drag to the overall experience.

It is definitely a nice addition to any collection, and fills that need for something out of the ordinary.
